  9. Well done to everyone - these are great guesses. The artefact is a comb and a comb case to protect the teeth. It is made from bone joined together with iron rivets. The two small holes on the end would have been used to hang the comb from a belt and the little hole on the body of the comb was for a bone peg that kept the comb shut. Combs like this tell us that the Vikings cared about how they look.

  11. I think it this is for definite but the one that everyone is saying is a comb i think your right cause on this viking game i played on bbc it said it was a comb and the other thing a case and the holes tohang of the ladys dress
