Primary 7 travelled to Lyness to visit the Naval Cemetery and the Scapa Flow visitor centre. The weather was fine and sunny for the walk up to the cemetery, and pupils were able to find out about the war graves and the men who are buried there.
Pupils watched a short film in the oil tank and looked at some of the exhibits before exploring the pump house and boiler room.
Having packed lunches outside with the ducks and travelling together on the boat were also highlights of the trip!
