Monday – After an early start from P7s we had a great
crossing on the boat. Thank you to Northlink Ferries for their sponsorship and
free breakfast on the boat, this went down well!
We arrived at Lagganlia at 12:30pm just in time for some
lunch and a quick meeting with the instructors. Luke and Bastien are the 2
group instructors. Luke’s group ventured into the Lagganlia wilds for an
adventure and saw a red squirrel while Bastien’s group saddled up some mountain
bikes and went for a short 3 to 4 mile cycle in the forest.
Once everyone got back to the centre we had some time to
relax and meet the Dounby P7s before having tea and then taking part in a
Lagganlia scavenger hunt.
Most of us were fairly tired after a busy day of travel and
activities! Let’s hope for another relatively dry Lagganlia day tomorrow! NM
