Scottish Rivers
We have been using the atlas to find the main Scottish rivers.  We used play-doh to make them and place them on to a map of Scotland.  It was quite tricky to get them in the right place!  We discovered that all the rivers lead out to the sea.  We did some more research and found out that rivers start up in the mountains and get bigger and bigger until the river mouth joins it to the sea.  We found out about the River Clyde.  It is a river that flows through Glasgow.

We typed our notes into a table and printed them out to make our 'Rivers' display.  It gives information about the start of a river, the journey of a river, the end of a river and famous rivers.
