Sharing Our Stories With P1

After Britt came to visit we decided to make some books for the younger children in the school.  We chose the topic of castles because we wanted to know about Scottish castles in our topic and the P1 topic is 'Castles.' 

We copied Britt's method and wrote a first draft of our story on plain paper, then split it up to show where to take a new page and finally drew illustrations to match. 

This morning we took our books to share with P1.  We told them about our visitor and how we had written our books.  They were all really good listeneners and P5/4 were brilliant

story-tellers!  Maybe they will write some books for us now!?
